Hello From Mixer

hi there,

I go by the forum name of Mixer because I like a little of everything.

I'm one of the group of people who have set up this community site, I'm the code and design bod. I could twaddle on about computer stuff for half a page, but lucky for you, I won't.

I will say that I am into watching just about any sport, thought I mostly only play tennis and ride my bike these days.

I'm a Northerner living in the south.

I have friends that are sports club people (SCPs) of various kinds, and have noticed how some of these have such varied tasks to deal with, and how some, particularly at the smaller clubs work so hard and have to learn everything about the job on their own. So I and a couple of others (one that is an SCP) thought it could help make things a little easier if SCPs had a community to go to find support, build a knowledge base and just talk to others that understood their way of life. We also thought it could be good for all SCPs got together across the sports to see how much some one running a golf club might help someone running a rugby club or a boat club and so on, after all, they all have to deal with public liability, they all like good fund raising ideas, and they all, hopefully, buy or build huge trophy cabinets!

Anyway, I'll be around to solve any forumy type problems should there be any and do things like open new boards when needed.
